I decided to do a different walk from my home today and to give it a little extra bit of danger. If you saw my picture of a stile on the 24th February, I said I had a problem getting over it due to the drop on the other side where the earth has been warn away.
Well I attempted it today and if anyone was watching I looked my like a dying swan than a graceful swan gliding over the water. Once landing into the field I followed the Cotswold Way where the views are fantastic.
This should be the view from behind my property, unfortunately my garages and another bungalow blocks the view. What you can see is Selsley Common, such a wonderful place to walk and get some fresh air. You can also see the upper part of my village running right to left below the trees.
Just after I took this picture I returned to the assault course and to clamber over the stile again. I manager to climb up a fence first and then onto the stile. A short rest on a village bench before home to collapse onto the settee, yippee 44 calories burnt so an extra sausage tonight.
I envy you the sausage. We have run out till the next shop.
Would love to see a selfie of you on top of that stile...;-)
