I've moved further down the canal to Oil Mill Bridge, which I will talk about later, and decided to look back at the Ebley Mill. This section of the canal has been cleared and now has regular trips up and down for a few miles.
It is such a pretty place and I love how the mill is reflected onto the water. Some new houses have been built on the left of the canal but the right hand side has been left for the trees and some meadows in the valley. I wouldn't mind sitting alongside the canal and watch the world go buy.
The bridge I'm stood on goes down to another old mill and a lovely mill house for the owners. You will have to wait until tomorrow for those. Just enjoy this lovely view and imagine what it is like with just wildlife and bird noises, heaven.
This is a very idyllic scene. Peaceful and timeless beauty. I am fond of canals too.
