Now that Christmas is over and also the New Year celebrations, I expect many of us feel we might have overindulge a little with all that lovely rich food and drink.
Well I think this squirrel in our local park may have been having too much them self. It was looking a bit overweight and should leave its nuts alone, did I really say that? Of course they do like being feed by humans in the park, and perhaps that may include Christmas cake full of rich fruit etc.
Now I know I have problems with weight but it is a family thing, but I keep getting adverts through my letter box and email from Weight Watchers. I have always said if I can't lose weight on my own, I'm not going to pay to do it. I think I should show all these adverts to this squirrel and see what happens, leave your nuts alone squirrel.
Wow, indeed quite fatty. Fun fact: this morning I saw a squirrel in the park and it looked quite fatty too. I doubt it crossed the channel, so as to assume it was the same.
People here also use to feed them - I doubt that's good for them.

My grandson forwarded a report from an American site saying they had done research over the years & found that women who lost weight in their older years didn’t fare as well as someone with strength, balance & general fitness. The thin ones died before the perhaps more rounded overall well ones. You need a bit of back up if you get I’ll…..that’s what Jack says anyway! I’m ok on the strength & fitness but not so hot on the balance!! 🤣
The better covered we are the less likely we are to break bones when we fall! I can prove this because I don’t think I broke anything in the bike fall yesterday. The ribs are feeling very sore mind!
