I was really buzzing when I came home from my venture yesterday; I had got out and found a geocaching. I even ventured to my local Aldi's on the way home. At the checkout I was asked how I was doing to which I replied, "Okay for an oldie, except for my wonkey leg". I told her that I had tried a replacement chicken leg and also a turkey leg, but they didn't fit, and asked if she had a spare right leg handy. It least it gave her a smile.
Back to the bee, I had put my car "Bluey" away in the garage and spotted this bee on my neighbour’s car. Has it not been told it was February, and bitterly cold, it should be wrapped up in a hive until Spring.
My neighbour had told me that she was blighted with yellow marks on her car from bees, but I had never seen it. I poked the bee a couple of times but it wouldn't get off the car. Is this a new case of insect Romeo and Juliet, with the bee hugging the grey paintwork until it died in the cold, or perhaps the car was nice and warm? I didn't hug the car myself as the neighbours would really believe I was mad.
