Call the Fire Brigade, the Cats on the Roof

I spotted this yesterday on one of my neighbours roofs. They have replaced the ridge tile with one modeled with a cat on it.

Not sure if it's meant to scare the birds, but it's having an adverse effect as the crafty birds have left their calling cards all over it. A bit different to the saying "It's like a cat on a hot tin roof".

I wonder if they bought the tile from a CAT-A-LOG.
