We visited a building area nearby in search of wooden houses and found this gem. Totally to my liking!
I couldn't capture it symmetrically from the frontside, because a big van was parked there.
@ninaganci Nina, this house was finished this year, the inhabitants just moved in. This is what I'm dreaming of since years. Maybe we can build one, if we build it much smaller. M u c h smaller... ;)
@grannysue Yes, it is – you're an attentive observer. Maybe, in one or two (or three or...) years, I can take photos of our own little red house. With a big garden in quiet surroundings, where all my cats can go outside.
@lastrami_ We don't let Luna out. She got out once as a kitten and it took quite a while to coax her back. There are coyotes that roam out here in the boonies at night.
@grannysue oh, totally different parameters... I understand. Where we live, outdoor cats' biggest enemies are probably road traffic and trigger-happy hunters :-\

It is much dearer than we thought, because the soil is bad where we planned to build a house. The required groundworks would be awfully expensive :-\
