Joshua was a little impatient (in fact I was a little late preparing breakfast for my furry friends). Rocket was surprised to see a cat outside on the windowsill
@kchuk Many thanks for your wishes, dear Elyse. I hope so, too. He was just here again for dinner, together with Mable. Picasso currently prefers to get her meal in the garage, where it is warm and where she can eat alone. Fortunately the garage is a part of our cellar, I only need to go into the washkitchen and open a door. Very nice in the wintertime! I feed solely wet food, and if they don't eat up, the food doesn't freeze like it would do outside. Have a nice day!
@robz@gardenfolk Heartfelt thanks for your wonderful words ♥ Yes, Joshi became a stately tomcat :)
It's so amazing how acobatical cats are:
The outer window sill is made of metal, very narrow and a little sloping to let the rain run off.
And the window sill is roundabout 180 cm above the ground, in front of it there's a big rhododendron. The cats can only jump onto the sill from the side (from the upper step of the stairs).
Okay, not a big challenge for a cat. The problem is to get off the window sill.
The cat has to turn around to get back to the stairs, and on one side, there is the closed window...no space for the botty.
From time to time I hear a cat plopping down, especially when the sill is rain-wet :-\
But mostly they master the task. Sometimes I open the window to help ;)
