Okay so maybe these aren't the cutest creatures on the planet. But I thought this little guy was sort of cute, happily eating his grass without a care in the world. To me, they are sort of adorable in a funny looking way...
I spent the day with my sister and her fiance hiking around Elk Island Park, which is what my sister wanted to do for her birthday. I had never been there before and when she told me she wanted to go there I expected a little relaxing walk around and then leave. We ended up walking for hours and it was really quiet and relaxing. There were several small lakes and trails...and lots of these Bison!
Overall it was really fun. Though, next time I would not wear a wool sweater while hiking in 24 degree celcius...
oh my gawsh, a wool sweater!! haha. Poor you :( That had to have been HOOOOT!! sounds like a great day tho, and your not the only one who finds these guys sort of cute :D I have always liked them. The photo is great, like the composition!
Lauren this bison is so cute & like you guys see the UK pictures of castles etc this is the same for me in reverse this is how I percive Canada. Great shot the exposure is spot on the the composition perfect, Well 24 degrees at last some warmth for you over there :-) Glad you had a fantastic day

Little guy? I've never seen a bison that was little. Even the babies seem huge.

yah, those lil guys will get you know matter what you have on! lol.
i havent gotten a bite yet this spring....gawsh i hate mosquito's!!!
