Today is mine and my husbands anniversary. It has now been four years since we eloped (and next month it will be nine years since he started talking to me while waiting for a bus) and I am lucky to have someone so loving, thoughtful and patient in my life.
(hopefully he sees this and is so happy with my kind words that he begs me to let him give me a shoulder rub **hint hint** if you are reading this, Husband)
Since he still insists on refusing to be in my pictures, I will settle for a picture of "the nook" which is what I call the spot where his arm meets his chest - which is of course the very best, most comfortable spot to rest my head.
so, to my husband: Happy anniversary! and I love you!

Great shot Lauren I love the detail the lens has picked out in this one. I like the unusual crop which works brilliantly with the B&W. Probabley most important thing last "happy anniversary" to you both & I hope "the husband" reads your wonderful words about him
