Pretty sure I have a picture exactly like this from last year.
Sometimes I wish I didn't have a garden at all since I'm terrible at maintaining it. It currently looks nothing like the pretty garden it was when we moved in.
If I had the money I would hire a gardener. And they would maintain it and cut fresh flowers to put on my table in a vase. And they would know the difference between a flower and a weed. And they would figure out how to keep bugs away. Yep, my gardener would be awesome! :)
@shokoda I took it with my 50mm/1.4 but i also own the 1.8 and either is wonderful but for the price the 1.8 is fantastic! the 50mm is absolutely my favourite lens and most of last years project was taken with it. So if you are considering it, i'd say go for it!
@laurentye awesome thanks! i've heard nothing but great things about the 50mm. how much is the price difference for the 1.8 and the 1.4? i know 1.8 is cheaper but should i be getting the 1.4 or will the 1.8 get the job done?
@shokoda my 1.4 was purchased second hand, so therefore was cheaper. That's the only reason i have the 1.4 - i was completely satisfied with the 1.8 but it is fun to be able to get an even shallower depth of field. So I guess if you don't mind spending the extra money the 1.4 is great, but honestly for the price you can't go wrong with the 1.8 :)
i LOOVE the focus of this and the green looks so amazing!! dont worry, one day you will learn all the in's and out's of gardening :) I have never had one of my own but hope to one day! i am sure i will be the same as you, hahaha!
