Rosa Rugosa by lauriehiggins

Rosa Rugosa

Today I'm grateful for resilience and there is no more resilient flower than the rosa rugosa. They grow wild in the sand all over the beaches on Cape Cod, and are pretty common in most people's yards. Thank you so much for all your kind comments yesterday! I really appreciate you all so much.
what an exquisitely happy color!

Beautiful color! I love how it gradually gets lighter as your eye moves from the base of the bud to the tops of the petals! It's so lovely!

Anything that grows in sand and salt water has to be resilient. Beautiful flower, and nicely captured.
