Thank you all so much for your comments and favs on my photo yesterday! I've had a rough couple of weeks, and that sunset moment was really a turn that helped me get back on track to remembering what is important. Lately I've been feeling really grateful for the beautiful place I live, and it is never more gorgeous than in June, when climbing roses are literally spilling all over themselves along Main Street. I really love the look of the delicate pink roses against the salt weathered shingles that cover most houses and buildings here. It is the perfect sight of home to me. This photo doesn't really do it justice...
Laurie.. I am sorry about the last couple of weeks.. that sunset photo was beyond amazing .. and these roses are beautiful. Things that surround our homes are the catalysts that bring us back to what is important in life!!! nice shot!
This is gorgeous, Laurie! Love your composition. I need a moment myself. I've been so busy. I'm hoping after the weekend to spend some quality time iwth my camera again.
