A Night at the Theater by lauriehiggins

A Night at the Theater

We went to see "Born Yesterday" at Monomoy Theatre in Chatham tonight for a review I have to write...tonight. It is one of the few remaining old school Summer Stock theaters in the country. The show was incredible!

For those following my gargoyle saga: My husband, Steve, came home from work early today. I was in the shower getting ready to go out to dinner and the theater. When I came into the living room the gargoyle was sitting in a greenhouse by the window gazing out, instead of perched on the bookshelf where I placed him. The extent of our discussion: I asked Steve, "Why did you move my gargoyle?" His answer: "I didn't move your gargoyle...You don't know what he does in the night..." Game on!
I am so excited to see where Hugo shows up next! :-)
Love the shadows from the bushes that frame the sign! How wonderful to be able to see summer stock theater where you live!

oh yah, about my macro lens that I know NOTHING about: it is a Tamron,
60mm/F2. SP. Whatever that means. I really am such a luddite. I went to the camera store, talked to the guy, and because its a trustworthy store, I went with his recommendation. It's still quite confusing to me though and I really need a tutorial on the ways and uses of the lens because I know you can use it for more than just close ups but I dont' really understand the application (see, luddite). wish I could be more helpful. . . :)
