I usually spend most Mondays humming, "Just Another Manic Monday," and today was no different. I took a walk on the beach but it was the same old, same old, so I decided to post a photo of my cat I took this morning. When I went into my bedroom, I found her balancing on the curtain rod intently looking outside. Must have been a bird out there.
I took a dozen photos of her and I liked this one best because it's the only one that shows her face. She's still pretty intent on something. Must have been a spider in the corner...
Wow, I cannot imagine how that thin rod is holding her weight! She's a beauty, and I love the way she's back-lit by the sunshine streaming through your curtains. Nice composition, Laurie.
Hey, our cats look similar! Therefore, she is gorgeous! I love the way the sun shines through her ears and the curtains. This is a fantastic shot. Love it love it love it!
Great shot Laurie. First love the capture and can't believe the rod holds up. Wow must have some fastening of brackets to wall. Second love the lighting and shadows.
I'm faving this just for her balancing act. If my cats tried this, the rod would be snapped in two, due to their "excessive poundage". That sound so much better than calling them fat!
LOL, I'm always amazed at where cats can lodge themselves. Mine always parks himself on top of my cupboards. Ever have the feeling you're being watched? Yep.
This came out great! I love what you did with the light. I can't imagine how that can be comfortable, but I find myself saying that about many cat poses.
