Restaurant peeps will know what that title means. It seems an apt description for the last few weeks. And then there are perfect moments like this that I would never experience if it wasn't for 365.
Thank you to everyone who takes the time to comment on my photos. You all make this photo journey so meaningful to me.
Laurie - this is such a fav! Don't know the expression "in the weeds", but i've been in the weeds taking photos and crawling under half-broken down piers to get a good shot. I think you mean something else - right? Such a gorgeous sunset!
Oh, I know how you feel! I think if it wasn't for moments like this one, I would go mad! This is so beautiful, Laurie! What a sunset! I love the golden tones on the stems! Fav!
@sparkleplenty1 In restaurant terms "in the weeds" means you are so behind you may never catch up. It's not a fun feeling, but then you kick into gear, other people help you and somehow you get it all done. Afterwards you feel like you've fought a battle and won just because you managed to survive. I haven't worked in a restaurant in years, but those terms still come to me. Whenever I walk behind someone in a kitchen, I still say "behind."
Seeing the little things in a big way, LH! Love it!
In The Weeds! That's the perfect title for my unwritten autobiography--I am so behind that I haven't written it yet! :-(
Yes, these are the special moments that we often stumble upon, and they are great because as a photographer, we can freeze frame them to enjoy later. It's a great life.
oh dear...sending more hugs to you...remember the mantra......this is stunning...just like you and yes, so grateful that we can get out and find the beauty in this world...
Gorgeous sunset! Weeds and all! Never heard that expression but I have pulled weeds for a job in my youth! And there is no catching up in that job! By the time you are done one area, the weeds are growing in someplace else! So I see how it makes sense! LOL
breathtaking Laurie! I watch Top Chef - so I know what it means. . .I am hoping things are okay for you guys. I need to go back and see what's been happening. Things have been so hectic - and so wonderful! sending hugs.

Laurie, another stunner. Love the weed accent. :-)
