Red Barn in Spring by lauriehiggins

Red Barn in Spring

This is my third photo of this red barn in Weston, Vermont. I'm trying to capture it in all four seasons. My first photo was in the fall: http://365project.org/lauriehiggins/365/2011-10-12

Then I shot it again in winter: http://365project.org/lauriehiggins/365/2011-12-02

It was rainy and foggy today, so the photo ops weren't great, but in this spring photo I like how the flag on the outbuilding really shows up. In the sunnier photos, it's not as noticeable.
Wonderful capture

Do people live in part of building with barn and animals adjacent as in parts of Europe or is the dwelling separate. Great looking photo.

How fun to see it progress through the seasons.

Fabulous idea to shoot in all four seasons then you can make an amazing collage. The fall shot is gorgeous. I think spring in New England is a bit drab since so much rain and all.

I love the idea! I hope you post all four when you have them! Great shot, Laurie!

I like photos in a series like this. I pulled them all up together, and by far my favorite is the fall. I'm looking forward to the final one for the series.

@peterdegraaff I never heard of heard of people living adjacent to barns, Peter! The actual farmhouse was to the right of this barn.
