Fairy Flowers

Something about this photo made me think of fairies. I bought a one gallon pot of these tiny coreopsis years ago and they are one of my most successful plants. They literally spread like weeds. Maybe that's why they make me think of magical things...

I have been shooting the moss & fungus and thinking that fairies would live in them too--Great Minds...We are sympatico LH!

Very lovely shot. The stems of the flowers are so delicate they almost disappear. The flower heads do almost appear to magically hover by themselves.
