I loved the way the sunshine hit these tulips and the surrounding lilies of the valley enough to turn my car right around when I saw them. It was like they were glowing from inside. Sometimes the world is so impossibly beautiful, isn't it?
@philipmad1 That's so true, Philip! My mother taught me that odd numbers are better in every flower composition. I was just drawn to the twin-ness of this photo, because sometimes two people who are kindred spirits are just enough.
A very nice capture Laurie. I captured a very similar image of a single tulip against a tree, ended up liking it but it was not one I posted last night.
