So this is my first ever bird shot, and although it's far from the perfect shot, I'm pretty excited about it :))
This little bird seems to like hanging out in our backyard. I'm assuming it was someone's pet and it has escaped it's aviary/cage, as it has a little ID tag on its leg. I think it is fairly tame, as I was able to get quite close to it (about 1 metre or so away) and it seemed to be quite happy to keep eating while I clicked away, plus it landed on my hubby's shoulder a few weeks back while he was out in the garden. I'm not big on bird identification, but I'm pretty sure that it's a canary?
