Bluff hut by leggzy

Bluff hut

Located in the Alpine National Park, Bluff Hut is the third highest hut in Australia. The original hut, built in the summer of 1956 by Eadley Stoney & other local graziers, as a safe place to shelter while mustering cattle in the high country. Unfortunately the original hut burnt down in the 2007 fires and was rebuilt in 2008
Lovely shot and interesting narrative, good to hear it was rebuilt after the fires

Another fabulous find and shot. Love the rusty textures and orange earth. It could be anywhere here too.

It looks little used, shame especially considering its claim to fame!
