St Therese

Catholic Church - Barry

Now a private residence. Not sure when it was built as I can't find any info (a lack of time also isn't helping). This one is just up the road from the previous corrugated iron church, St Jame's Anglican, that I shared - http://365project.org/leggzy/365/2017-03-10 . They both are quite similar, with the corrugated iron & the design....except this one has the gothic inserts in the windows.

It sold in September last year - shots from inside can be found here on a real estate website, for those interested https://www.realestate.com.au/sold/property-house-nsw-barry-107972666
Thanks for the real estate link, certainly open plan living. A very quaint little home now :)

The cross on the roof seems to have been damaged a bit. But, what a lovely building - I suspect it would make quite a nice private residence, but I'm never very enthusiastic about living in an old church. I'm not sure I'd like it, personally.

It looks delightful, but I am not so sure I would fancy living in a church.

Thanks for the link. Not sure I would like to live in such an open living space.
