Dilapidated doors

A shed I found near a railway line that's no longer used....although it seems to have a brand new sheet of corrugated iron off to the left side of the doors. The colours & deterioration of the timbers, along with the contrast of the shiny new corrugated iron is what grabbed my attention. I am amazed at the variety of doors that I'm finding...I guess sometimes we just don't 'see' things until we really start looking.

Looks better on black if you have the time :)
Lovely textures :)

The corrugated is a bit newer than my photo

Great patterns. I've found that boosting the detail/clarity and saturation works quite well with distressed timber.

Lovely juxtaposition of textures. It could tell a few stories, I am sure.

with so much character. You could do a half and half scene with the shot, for the half and half challenge.
