They're a bit hard to see as they are so overgrown, but they're there. This train line hasnt been used in years, probably 30 or so, and most likely will never ever be used again. I really wish they would convert it to a rail trail, for cycling, walking etc.
The old shack in yesterdays shot is just out of view to the left, where tge grass is much greener. I pretty much stood on the railway track to get the shot of the shack.
I never noticed the unusual cloud formation right above me until looking at my shot on the computer.
Gorgeous image. Love the leading line created by the track even if it is partly hidden. Beautiful blue sky with clouds to add to the beauty of the scenery.
A wonderful view - fav! I agree that if railways are not to be used by trains, they should be converted to cycle / walking trails. There are some good examples where that has been done in the UK, but many more great opportunities were missed.
Thankyou! So you are in lockdown as well! I like the area around Cowra and prior to all this used to visit regularly. I have a close friend who grew up in Mudgee! @leggzy
