My mum & dad recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. We were meant to have a family celebration, and although where we live wasn't in lockdown at the time, the rest of our family in Sydney were, so our celebration got canned :(
We were going to have a variety of family photos done - with the grandkids, great grandkids, them on their own like in this shot, with their children, and then also with the entire family. But it wasn't to be for now, sadly.
I decided I would at least get some photos of them & I wanted to get a shot of them holding their wedding photo, but hadn't taken into consideration the glare on the glass of the frame until I was taking the photos. I then thought I could take the glass out of the frame, but that wasn't possible as it was taped up at the back like no-one was ever going to get the back off!!
Soooo my query is, does anyone have any advice whether it would be possible to edit the glare/reflection out of the wedding photo? And if it is possible, how? (I am not very skilled on editing something like this). Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated :))) TIA
Huge congratulations to your parents - that is indeed an amazing milestone! If it was me I would take a photo of the photo ensuring there is no glare, then I would photoshop the image into the frame in the photo of your parents.
Congratulation to your parents for reaching such a wonderful milestone; and they still look young, God bless them. Sorry you were not able to bring the whole family together. I agree with Delwyn. Taking a separate picture of the photo, ensuring you avoid the reflections and then layering it in the frame could do the trick.
Well done to your mum and dad for achieving their 60th anniversary. I hope that you manage to get a solution to the glare. This is a lovely shot of your parents.
The 60th wedding anniversary is called a diamond wedding for us! This requires two people who love and understand each other! Your parents must be like that. I warmly congratulate them!

Thank you all for your suggestion. I dont have photoshop, but will give Peter's suggested website a go 👍 thanks again for your help
Well its all been said really. Good luck with a new photo or scan of your photo. There are a number of basic photo programs available for free that you should be able to get hold of. Congrats to your parents, a real milestone and they both look well AND happy.
I played around with your picture and will post it in my third album with your tag. See if you like it- I am not a master at restoring photos but I thought I'd give it a try. If you don't like it, tell me to delete it and I will take it off 365. If you do like it, feel free to pull it off my album and save it- or I can email you the file- Olivetreeann@mail.com (just mail.com no g or any other prefix).
