We are out of lockdown, just slightly ahead of the rest of NSW which will be on Monday, as we have reached 70% double dosed vaccinations (although poor Sydney people can only stay within Greater Sydney - but at least they will now be able to travel out of their own LGA) so it was good to get out for a drive. I think I will still be very cautious for a while to watch & see how this all pans out. Once we reach 80% double dosed, which is expected to be in a couple of weeks, the whole state will be opened up to those who are fully vaccinated.
This is a canola field that has a bit of a natural water course running through it, hence the flows of green through the canola.
Superb.
Looking forward to the outcome of the measures. Where are you located?
In Romania, vaccination is very low, infection rates are high. And people are people. They all have rights, but no obligations.
What lovely colors! The little patches of green add nice contrast. Your vaccinated population is much higher than where I live. Just curious, does your country take into account those who obtained their antibodies from covid itself rather than just a vaccination?
I will be taking it slowly when we come out of lockdown too. Gladys was a bit of a dill but at least she was easing out of lockdown slowly. Not so with Dominic Perrottet though he seems to be a bit of a loose canon and I can't help feeling cases will rise dramatically and it could all end in tears.
Agree totally @onewing Not in a rush to go far. I love the canola fields, such a cheery pop of yellow on the drive to Canberra. Not that we’re allowed to go there at the moment. Lovely landscape :)
Such a lovely scene.I am really looking forward to being able to see my grandchildren who live about 5 streets away however I'm dreading the increase in numbers
@monikozi Im in Australia. Our vaccination rate is increasing daily...we are over 70% for 2 doses, and over 90% for 1st dose....so we should get to 90% double dosed in a few weeks. Will be interesting how it all goes with starting to open up.

What were the rules of the lockdown?
