Somehow it's still standing!

I have photographed this old house a few times before, and each time I take the drive out to it, I'm surprised that it's still standing. I think it must have good bone structure!

The last time I shared a photo of it here, was just over 3 years ago, in August 2021 - and although the chimney was collapsed onto the roof at that stage, it seems to have deteriorated even more now with the chimney no longer in one piece, as it was back then. It is hard to tell from this angle, but from further up the hill (right of shot), the walls are visibly wonky! So who knows how much longer the old thing will last.....

Here are the links to the previous shots of the same old house

Nice capture and it's interesting to look back on the historical shots of this old bothy. I guess one day it will have collapsed.

The dead tree seems to be fairing better than the little house.

How amazing that it's still standing

We don't build them like that any more! Nice capture, well worth the drive to see the slow progress of deterioration.

I'm very glad to see the house again, and that it is surviving. It's a classic Australian rural scene

I love how you have captured this home through the past 8 years.
Still no clue to any of its history?

A lovely rural scene, and so nice to see a series of shots of the house through the years.
