More an obsession really. This is just a tiny example from my many bookshelves. I have bookcases in every single room of my house including the hallways. The books are threatening to take over!

I've gone for books for my collection word too. I always intend to put a book out for every new one I bring home but i just cannot do it so the library is for ever expanding
Sounds like you have the same problem that I do - it's impossible to pass the door of a bookshop without going in to 'browse'! However many bookshelves we add to our house, we always seem to have 10% more books than shelf space! - nice collage.
