Situated on the market square in 's-Hertogenbosch, the original city hall was built in the second half of the 14th century. The building has had many renovations and part-rebuilds in the past centuries. One of the largest rebuilds took part in 1670, this is also the year depicted with Roman numerals on the front of the building.
