Heard a racket out back and got up to investigate the noise. Noticed right off the feeder was missing from the pole. Birdfood is scattered all over the deck and stairs. I went out the basement door to see if I could sneak up on them. Two went running but this one just wasn't giving up his now free birdseed...
I don't mind the squirrels -- the raccoon under my deck is the culprit in my yard. He tears the feeders down and runs off with them. Some have completely disappeared.
@catwoman2 the raccoons seem the only bother our feeders at night so my husband now brings them in every night. The top screw must not have been on tight because it's still hanging.
