A Day To Reconnect With Those We Have Lost And Honor Their Memory

A girlfriend wanted to visit her parents grave and asked if I would go with her. It wasn't easy to get into Arlington today by car since we didn't time our arrival right around President Obama being there. To make a long story short hours later we did get in to join all the families with loved ones buried there. Every grave has a small American flag placed in front of it on Memorial Day. So many who gave everything for their country . True Patriots

I visited Arlington when I was in 8th grade (about 23 years ago)! I didn't really see the "big deal" with it back then as a child! I wish I could go back now that I'm grown up and really understand what it stands for!!!!
