Visited mom today to help her figure out a problem with her sewing machine . Figured out one problem and had another pop up. Grrrr... She was making a cape for Andrea to wear Saturday at Comic Con ( think that's were she is going). Watching and helping mom with the cape brought back so many childhood memories of outfits, barbie clothes and costumes she had made for us. I only had my phone but wanted to capture her doing something she has done my whole life. By the time we had the machine working correctly we had sewn the cape by hand pioneer style...lol

This could have been straight out of my childhood too Leslie! My mum still sews every day too. This has reminded me that I really need to take more photos of my mum, thank you! I love your collage and story, so very touching.
What a wonderful collage, Leslie. Nice to have something like this for memory sake and love the cape the two of you made. I used to love to sew. Brings back memories of late nights making clothing and costumes.
