And The Rockets Red Glare, The Bombs Bursting In Air
OMG !!! It was an 11 hour day spent at the Baltimore Inner Harbor for the 200 year celebration of "The Star-Spangled Banner" which was written here by Francis Scott Key. It rained most of the day and cleared just enough for the Blue Angles to fly all over Baltimore at about 3:30. By 5 o'clock the skies really started clearing. Fireworks started at 9:30 and we lucked and I mean lucked into a fantastic spot on one of the dock piers. I believe they had set up 7 spots all over the harbor to shot them from. I have never seen anything like it . We stood there and could see fireworks from 360 degree. It was AMAZING and something I will remember the rest of my life.
