These two were just to the right of me as I was taking my sunrise pictures yesterday. It was heartwarming watching the two. She listened intently when he asked her to look at the blossoms and was telling her dad stories as he snapped away. When she noticed and picked up his lens cap and preceded to put it in the little puddle of water next to her. He calmly explained what it was and took it out of the puddle placing it in his shirt pocket. They didn't stay long and happily walked away hand in hand ..........
How beautiful!!! Gorgeous scenery and how sweet of the dad to be taking photos of his little girl! I would never dare but any of my children that close to the water!! LOL LOL They think they are part fish and would jump in!!! A lot like their mother!!
Beautiful photo and such a happy and serene feel about it! FAV!
I can't even think of the words I want to use to describe this photo. It looks like the perfect illustration to a story book and it is an amazing image!
This got an instant Oh wow! not only for the beauty of the surrounding flowering trees, sunrise and Jefferson Memorial but for the preciousness of the father-daughter photography season and the story you shared about them.
@lesip ah, Leslie! What a warm welcome! I'm not back yet but just stopping by to see what I've been missing. I have been looking occasionally but not taking time to comment much! This one was so excellent I had to!
@anazad511 it's mine too and was only a quick snap because it was so precious to see this dad and his little girl. Only when I saw it on the computer did I realized how special it was.
I missed this the first time and I am so glad to have seen this truly wonderful and poignant image on TT. Many congrats and of course, a big fav. A truly lovely capture.
