So my anniversary is Friday and my husband will be joining me at the beach. I cut this heart out of cardboard before I came to the beach hoping for some kind of anniversary silhouette shot with him. I've already warned him what he has to look forward to. Hoping to lessen the pain by practicing before he arrives to get my in camera setting. It was a little windy and I struggled with the heart bending so maybe I'll tape a wooden hanger using duct tape to the back of the heart . Thinking we can stand holding the heart between us , above us or maybe Bob on his knee offering up the heart to me. That's my ideas so far, anyone got an idea for the shot? It was be our 39th wedding anniversary and hopefully my gift will be the photoshoot only lasting a couple minutes. LOL
How I love all the effort you're going to, to get a perfect anniversary image AND spare your hubby the pain of a long photo-shoot! I hope he realises what a wonderful wife he has! Happy anniversary on Friday. This, by the way, is a fantastic photo - I can't wait to see what you do tomorrow (I hope you'll share it).
@kwind using the self timer which I did today and will have it take multiple shots. It will be a lot easier to compose with Bob standing there while I set it up. I used a beach bag this morning. There was a couple up on the lifeguard chair watching the sunrise and probably me. So wanted to ask them to be my subjects. Don't know why it's so hard for me to do that? The worst they could say was no. One day.... sign
Total strangers are always asking me to take pictures of them. So ask! It doesn't hurt. It might disappoint but you just might get a sure why not. Love this s shot hope the weather and sunset holds for you.
How exceedingly clever of you! Terrific to plan ahead to spare your husband having to stand there for too long! This one looks amazing so I am certain that the next one will be even more amazing!
This is going to be a fantastic image for you to have for your anniversary -- and you're smart to know exactly how you're going to do it. I love your ideas and think you'll have a beautiful result. Good luck and happy anniversary!
if bob's knees are still strong, yeah, get him on bended knees offering the heart to you! :-D way to go, les! and if i don't remember to greet you, i better do now: happy anniversary and aces on 39th!
Happy Anniversary, Leslie!! Personally, I like the idea of the two of you holding the heart between you, preferably with the sun setting behind it!! Speaking of practical matters, having both of you holding it will give it more stability....just saying! Can't wait to see the end result!
Good luck, can't wait to see what you come up with!
