Sheep from Fair Isle are transported to Grutness at the south end of Shetland for sale at the local Mart. Some are pre-bought by buyers. They are only moved if the weather conditions are good enough.
On reviewing this photograph from two year ago I did wonder if Boris Johnson was helping out on this trip.
