On This Day 2018

Stiles - they help immensely - this one on St Ninians Isle.
We don't have these - step over the fence and you are on private land and can expect the reprimand!

Something similar but simpler is seen in the Faroe Islands as well.
I visited St. Ninians isle once and I remember a lot of rabbits there.
I enjoyed the walk on the tombolo and picked up a couple of stones from it.

@maggiemae We have open access in Scotland which is great. Also land owners are given grants to provide stiles and paths which is good for them as well as it can keep most walkers off parts of their land where they don't want anybody.

Thats a nice big one!! The first time I ever went over a Stile was in Yorkshire, I was so excited. Had only read about them!!(I,m Australian!!)
