Leucism

This House Sparrow has been a regular in the garden for over 2 years. It appears to be suffering from Leucism where some of the feathers are white and is not uncommon in Sparrows. He seems to get on fine with the other Sparrows and holds his own around the bird feeder.
Such an amazing clear shot! Interesting info about Leucism. Never heard about it before. Love how you can enjoy photos but also learn from them as well! Thank you!

@jomo @cheekylulu I only learned about Leucism when I posted a similar photo on Blipfoto over a year ago and someone informed me of the condition
