Magellan

The first of this years cruise liners that was too big to berth alongside came in today. Usually three sizes, those that come alongside, those that berth in the Inner Harbour (like the Magellan) and those monsters that have to berth in the Outer Harbour. The weather and tide can also affect where they berth.

Oh....way too big for our little harbour...the cruise ships often call into Fowey just up the coast though and they often get bussed into our village.

I must admit I don't like these huge ships in small harbours, but accept that they are a necessary evil.Hope the tourists spend lots.
