Railway Gorse

I always think the best looking urban railway lines are those with gorse on the embankment.

@ankers70 interesting how different a species is looked at in different parts of the world. I can well see how it would be a fire hazard in a warm dry climate. I’ve also learnt from here how Ragwort is much hated in NZ but no so much in Shetland.

Yes it is interesting. A weed is a plant in the wrong place, and here we are troubled by weeds brought from the other parts of world that have proliferated here. Ragwort is also much hated here.
