Fladdabister Bales

While travelling along the top road between Sandwick and Lerwick the Black Bales at Fladdabister stand out as if there are cattle in the filed. They will soon be shifted to a more secure sight at the farmer will be hoping for one last cust later in the Autumn.

Such a change from seeing hay bales done by hand. I wonder what the old crofters think of the black plastic machine produced bales!? Lovely image.
