Bressay ferry Leirna leaving Lerwick for Bressay at 11am this morning. It started as a fine day but the wind was picking up by this time and the Leirna had to head south before heading north to avoid the worst of the swell. Would be worse later on as the started to gust above 50 mph.
I wish I had time to go to Bressay on my visits. It's so close to Lerwick. I only had short visits, just while Norröna went to Bergen and back, so that limits you in how much to see and do. I only took the Toft-Ulsta ferry to Yell. Didn't have time to go to Unst.
