There is usually a story to tell when flying to and from the Northern Isles. Today was a bit different as the reason for the hour delay was the fact that there were three babies booked on board. Great news said the pilot but we only have two emergency cots on board should we be forced to ditch in the sea. It appears they couldn't find a third so one of the families had to volunteer ( or be volunteered) to wait three hours for the next flight. I hope they received some form of compensation.
Dearie me. I'm surprised that can happen. I mean, really? Although I suppose babies are not registered in advance of turning up at the airport if they don't take a seat. Or are they? I actually can't remember that far back! Lovely shot though!
