I love the Oystercatcher, or Shalder like you would say in Shetland. Tjeld in Norwegian and Tjaldur in Faroese and Icelandic.

@markp It is much easier to get a photo of an Oystercatcher than a Robin. I could probably get a reasonable photo of an Oystercatcher any day of the year but a Robin? Sometimes have them in the garden over winter (we didn't this last winter) and when they are here they won't pose like yours. Location, Location, Location.

Thanks @markp The oystercatcher actually welcomed me home when I arrived from work, and walked along me to the house.
