My great aunt was a wonderful baker - she kept many recipes from magazines and newspapers. The most popular was her caramel pie. She took it to many church socials, family reunions, holiday gatherings. The pastor even mentioned it at the service. But she never shared the recipe with anyone - I wonder if it's in this tin???
My grandmother was the same and I have a very similar motley collection. They are treasures. My grandmother shared hers, unlike your great aunt. I also have some handwritten ones from my great grandmother as well!
