This dogwood tree has been in my parent's yard for 70 years. Even though part of the tree was cut down in the 1960s for a house edition and part lost to a storm in the 1990s, the tree has never failed to bloom in the spring.
I love Dogwoods too — it's one of my favorite memories from living in TN and NC in my youth. What a lovely photo you've created of this old tree's offering for the year.
So pretty! I love it's colour and your composition. We bought my mom a pink dogwood for mother's day years and years ago. It's so pretty in her yard but not at the blooming stage yet.
