Are You Angry, Bird?

Actually, this bird was very cooperative. I took several captures, but this shot looking straight at the camera was my favorite since he is looking a little mad over all the attention. Thanks for dropping by. Happy Weekend Eve.
OH that face!!

Beautiful capture :) fav

I think this shot could also be called 'Here's looking at you!' The angle of the 'portrait' emphasizes that he is just the same shape as a robin but the latter get much more attention on here. Fav for me for the lovely tones, detail and textures.

@gilbertwood Many thanks, Denise.

@quietpurplehaze Thanks so very much. I almost never get this angle and was pleasantly surprised by the result. Really appreciate the fav!

You are so lucky to have caught this mockingbird in that expression. My favorite bird of all and I have quite a collection of anything to do with mockingbirds. FAV for sure.

Great capture and expression, FAV for this twitty.

YES! He does look angry. Isn't amazing how these creatures have similar expressions as humans? Yet, we really don't know if they mean the same...but certainly looks like it here. Awesome capture Lin...well done.

He is really not impressed, but we are.

He for sure is giving you the look
April 11th, 2015
I have to ask - does he have only one leg?
April 11th, 2015
@joansmor I can answer that. They are known for tucking one leg under into their body. I've seen this many times.

@linnypinny Mockingbirds typically stick to one territory and sing a lot during the spring. They are probably getting ready to mate your way.
