We had an early Mother’s Day Celebration for my mom this evening. We dressed up as old people for this shot. In real life, or at least in our heads, we’re not nearly this old. I’m on the left, then there’s my younger brother who can still antagonize me like no other, my sweet mom and the guy on the right with the eccentric art professor hairstyle is my older brother, the art professor! Mom is not in pain. This is just how her face responds to a camera lens. It’s kind of a joke in our family. Love you, Mom!
Oh, this is wonderful! Love the narrative and can so relate to it...I have five brothers and they all can still antagonize me. :) And my head tells me I'm somewhere between 19 and 23 even though my body and the mirror tell me otherwise. I also know that look on your mom's face...in photos of myself I look like I'm mad, in pain, or constipated. :) Great shot of a great looking family!
I really enjoyed the photo of your family. Your mom looks like a really neat person. I imagine she is creative in her own way to have inspired an art professor and a photographer (not sure what hidden talents are in your other brother). I never take a good photo either (that's why I'm the one holding the camera now). Looks like her children gave her a wonderful gift- being with her! Happy Mother's day to you as well!
