Pinecone by lisabell

Pinecone

I’m planning to do this project for another year, but tonight I got home late from shopping and was desperate for a photo and I wondered how I could even come up with another year’s worth of ideas. I wandered around frustrated when my son said “why don’t you just take a picture of the pinecones in the greenery on the banister?”. So I did. Goodnight!
Smart son!!!! I love photos of the simplest subjects. They're often taken for granted and capturing them reminds everyone to not overlook the obvious.

It is wonderful, and it gets tougher as the months add on. I guess that is what pushes us to expand our photographic mind.

Well, I'm with you on pretty much everything you've said. I, too, plan to do this another year, but I often think I won't possibly be able to. But then it's reminders like the one your son gave you that give me comfort. Sometimes, it really is the simplest things that make the best photos. Me? I've just got more Fred today... so uninspired am I. : )

I was kind of thinking the same thing! I have no desire to stop, but also have some days where I'm at a loss. This is pretty, nice detail and would be a cool accent pic if you're decorating a mountain home.
