Our beloved Boardwalk (2011 photo), connecting one side of town with the other. It has been battered & rebuilt many times & the last storm that tore it apart, tossing sections into the creek was the final blow. It will be rebuilt, but totally redesigned. Many a generation cannonballed from the bridge into the water below-a last day of school tradition (for my family as well-not me-I can't swim but I was there watching & cheering everyone on). A townie treasure where we went as kids to play & think & hang out with friends
