Jacaranda in bloom

They were glorious.
There are streets and streets of them - all in flower.

Those are my favorite tree when they're in bloom! Whenever I see them, I remember a photo of a friend's daughter, a redhead, standing in her wedding dress with one of those as a backdrop. It was taken in Australia and I'll never forget that beautiful picture!
